Account Deletion Request for Paperbook Apps

At Brainstorm, we value your privacy and give you control over your data. If you wish to delete your account and associated data from our services, please follow the steps below.

How to Request Account Deletion:

1. Send an Email: Please send an email to our support team at help@brainstormedu.org from the email address associated with your Paperbook app account.
2. Subject Line: In the subject line of your email, please write: "Account Deletion Request - [Your Username/Email Address]" (e.g., "Account Deletion Request - student@example.com").
3. In the Email Body: Clearly state your request for account deletion. This helps us verify your identity and expedite the process.

What Happens Upon Account Deletion:

Upon successful verification and processing of your request, the following data associated with your paperbook account will be permanently deleted from our active databases:

• Your account profile information (e.g., name, email address, user ID).
• Your purchase history related to past paper memberships.
• Your referral activity data.
• Any other personal data directly linked to your account within the app.

Data Retention:

Please note that we may retain certain non-personally identifiable aggregate data or data required for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes (e.g., financial transaction records required by law for a specific period). This retained data will be anonymized or pseudonymized where possible and will not be linked back to your personal identity.

Processing Time:

We will process your account deletion request within [e.g., 15-30] business days from the date of verification. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been successfully deleted.
